When analysing your color season, it can be super helpful to find celebrities who have similar features to you and see what their season is, what colors suit them, and what colors drain them. This can serve as inspiration for your own outfit, makeup, hair colors, jewellery and help you understand your own season better.

Most celebrities have not been verified by color analysts, but we can speculate on what their color season might be based on their natural features and the colors that suit them best.

See examples of poossible Springs here.

Famous True Springs

The True Spring palette is warm, bright, and clear. Think of the vibrant colours of blooming flowers in the spring, the spring sunshine and the bright green of fresh new grass. The True Spring palette embodies the beauty of spring with its fresh, warm and lively colours.

The overall appearance of True Spring is fresh, energetic and full of life, with colours that are pure, lively and warm.

How do you spot a True Spring?

True Springs are going to have light, warm and bright qualities to them. The skin, hair and eyes will have a warm glow, and they’ll shine in colors like yellow, tangerine, apple green. One good way to spot a True Spring is by seeing how they look in yellow. Many other seasons don’t gel with it, but on True Springs (and Springs in general), yellow makes them come alive.

Hair

When it comes to hair colors, you’ll often find that natural redheads fall either into the True Spring or True Autumn season, depending on depth and brightness. But darker blonds and light browns can also be True Springs. It would be usual to have very dark hair, though, darker than a level 4.

Eyes

The eyes of True Springs can be green, hazel, light brown or blue, but generally have a hint of warmth and lightness to them.

Skin

Their skin has a warm glow to it and seems to almost glow from within. It’s quite common for True Springs to have fair skin with glowy, pinkish and rosy undertones. Depending on ethnicity, though, True Springs can also have tanner skin; the main point is that it’s warm, with a slight glow and brightness to it (in contrast to True Autumn’s, whose skin is more muted).

Famous Light Spring

How do you spot a Light Spring?

The first thing you might notice about Light Springs is their fair coloring - everything from their hair to eyes to skin tone, will be light. They'll shine in light and warm colors, like sunshine yellow, apple green, lilac, light coral, and cream. These types of colors make them come alive, whereas anything too dark like black, midnight blue, or emerald green, swallows them up.

Hair

Light Springs will usually have natural blonde to light brown hair. Colors like strawberry blonde or light copper are also common. The hair will have a hint of warmth to it.

Eyes

The eyes are almost always light, with colors like light green, light blue, hazel or even light golden or amber.

Skintone

Skintones can be pale or medium with a warm glow. Like True Springs, Light Springs can have that pale, rosy skin with pink undertones (common in Ireland and the UK). But the skin can also be tanner. The main quality is that it is light for the person’s ethnicity, with a hint of warmth.

On first glance, it might be hard to distinguish between Light Springs and True Springs, but you’ll notice that Light Springs look better in colors that are lighter than the colors of True Springs. Light Springs can also pull off some colors from the Light Summer palette - colors that are a little cooler in temperature. True Spring colors are a little more intense and warm. Overall, though, the two palettes are quite similar still and individuals falling into the palettes might share similar features.

Bright Spring

How do you spot a Bright Spring?

Bright Springs might be the trickiest season to spot since brightness as a feature can be difficult to see on first glance. Bright Springs can also have any hair color, eye color or skin tone, making it even more difficult. It’s not uncommon for individuals to be mistyped multiple times before landing on the Bright Spring palette.

Bright Springs can also have any hair color, eye color or skintone. The best way to find a Bright Spring is not by looking at features but by seeing how the person looks in bright and warm colors. Bright Springs shine in colors like bright orange, bright yellow, magenta, and bright green. They need the brightness, the brightness that would overwhelm someone from another season.

  • Emma Stone

  • Emmy Rossum

  • Michelle Dockery

  • Gina Rodriguez

  • Kerry Washington

  • Jennifer Hudson

  • Karen Fukuhara

It's important to note though, that none of these celebrities are verified, and it can be difficult to determine the color season of celebrities from photos alone. However, there are some people that I see have the qualities of Spring, and that other color analysts have also speculated might be Springs.
